The annual CARV - SORVO picnic was held Sunday, July 18 at Winton Woods Park. As George Fee (Honduras 84 - 87) said, "Social interaction is what makes us human," and were we ever feeling human that day! This is the first in person meeting since March 2020 and we were happy to be joined by members of SORVO, our sister affiliate from Dayton, as well as several RPCVs from Kentucky. The potluck was as awesome as ever. Gabriela, who served in Mozambique and Dominica, noted that it was unusual because of the variety of dishes featuring grains and vegetables.
